A year ago she told me she was planning on making a then untitled film about people with box heads. At first, I thought of Jack in the Box (but then I realized that he had an orb for a head … I digress) but she was picturing something a little different. [...] I had pictured a world beyond the page, not just the story that was presented. I really felt Billimarie created a nice and familiar yet unfamiliar world with a grand Matrix-like back story (at least for me). But what really got me was the theme of love; a theme that I think is championed when coupled with artificial intelligence and robots. I enjoy the thought that love can conquer all, whether it be hate, violence, war, tyranny or even a droid ;)

Just want to re-thank EVERYONE who was involved in this project. WE HAVE DONE IT AND DONE IT WELL~ :D

I am proud of how Corrugated Hearts came out. If you are familiar with my work, you will not be surprised to find how experimental and non-traditional the narrative is. If you are not familiar...well, hopefully you are okay with strange things !

Not sure about this pixel aspect ratio in a few scenes. All color-corrected (not perfect in some scenes). All we need now is the VFX for the 3.0's and audio, and a few tiny editing tweaks towards the end.

Whoopi's been working on the teaser trailer along with some other VFX. It's all coming along nicely ! Excited to see the finished product...should be done in a week or so : )

We're about 94.8% picture-locked. There's two scenes I want to get a second opinion on before locking everything. If you've got a moment and feel like discussing those scenes via AIM/iChat/etc., let me know ! I'd be eternally grateful.

School's been killing me, so VFX stuff on my end has come to a halt. We're still hoping to release "Corrugated Hearts" by fall, and it looks like we're going to hit that deadline.

A few of you are curious about the screening. We are definitely going to have one, possibly even three. If you aren't already connected to the "Corrugated Hearts" group on Facebook, make sure you're following us on Twitter ! It's the only way to make sure you get an invite. It'll be a party with special surprises for the crew/cast/OG supporters :D
